Another club has joined the developing transfer chase for Juventus striker Luca Toni. Brazilian outfit Gremio are the latest to begin to sound out the Old Lady and Toni over the possibility of an exit from Turin this summer.

Toni has stated his willingness to remain at Juventus, but also confirmed if he were surplus to requirements he would leave with no hard feelings. Whether Juventus wish to keep the former Bayern Munich striker for next season remains to be seen, but Gremio are just the latest side to believe Toni may be on the move.

Toni’s other option at present is La Liga side Malaga, where coach Manuel Pellegrini is keen to add the experienced striker to his frontline.

More clubs can be expected to join the chase, though a switch to South America and Brazilian football would surely be the most surprising option on the table.
