Fenerbahce’s president Yildrim Aziz has denied that his club have lodged a concrete offer for Brazilian full back Maicon. The Inter man has been linked with a move to the Yellow Canaries and it has also been suggested in Turkey that Bestikas are keen on the player.
Tempting Inter to sell Maicon and the player himself to move to Turkey looks a close to impossible task and it is one, according to Yildrim Aziz, that Fenerbahce have not embarked upon.
"These items [transfer bids] should not be seen", said the Fenerbahce chief.
"There is no negotiation on this player and other names the media have matched to our club."
