Former Italy coach Marcello Lippi is still ready to return to coaching when he can find the right job. And the ex-Juventus boss has revealed that he plans to take a long break over the summer before considering going back to work, possibly in the winter.

Lippi was most recently linked with a return to Juventus, but that looks unlikely, with the Bianconeri appointing Antonio Conte as their new coach.

"This summer I will go on holiday", said Lippi when questioned about his plans, before adding: "with the onset of winter I will sit on a bench. We’ll see."

The Italian remains a hot property in world football, especially having led Italy to success in the 2006 World Cup. It is somewhat surprising that he remains unattached, although it is known that he has been offered several jobs, none of which he has deemed acceptable.
