Turkey coach Guus Hiddink has played down talk he could take over at Chelsea for next season, insisting that he is focusing on the job at hand.
The 64-year-old leads Turkey against Belgium on 3rd of June in what is a crucial game for the country in their bid to qualify for Euro 2012. Turkey are currently third in Group A, sitting behind Germany and Belgium.
"I read in the newspaper that a bad defeat against Belgium it [a move to Chelsea] would come true", said Hiddink, before commenting that he is concentrating "on my job now to beat Belgium and then I review it."
The Dutchman also said that if any concrete offer arrived he would take it to the Turkish Football Association chairman.
"If there is something concrete, I take it straight to the association chairman."
Hiddink also ruled out combining working with a national side with a club job again, as happened when he took caretaker charge of Chelsea but continued to manage Russia.
"That situation was different because Roman Abramovich has good relations with the Russian Football Association.
"For me it was an exception. It’s either a federation or a club."
