Guus Hiddink’s future as Turkey boss is still unclear after the country’s 1-1 Euro 2012 qualifier draw with Belgium.

It had been believed that a defeat, which would be a serious blow to the country’s chances of reaching next summer’s tournament in Poland and Ukraine, would cause Hiddink to exit his post and head to Chelsea, but a draw has complicated matters.

The Dutchman has admitted that he is in a difficult situation, with the English giants known to be keen to appoint him.

"I still have a contract with Turkey", Hiddink told FIFA’s official site.

"I hope that people understand that this is a tricky situation for me and that they respect that."

Meanwhile the Turkish FA are growing concerned over Hiddink’s refusal to issue a concrete denial about reports suggesting he will take over at Stamford Bridge.

"He has so far always said the same thing: there is nothing concrete", said Turker Tozar, a Turkish FA spokesman.

"On the other hand, he will not easily say ‘I stay in Turkey’."
