New AC Milan defender Philippe Mexes has expressed his delight at ending up at the San Siro.
The former Roma defender was unable to agree a new contract with the Giallorossi and was in no doubt that he wanted to move to the Serie A champions.
"If I had been asked to choose, I would have chosen AC Milan", said Mexes.
"I have realised the dream I had as a child", commented the Frenchman, before adding that he wanted to win everything there is to win with the Rossoneri.
"Scudetto or Champions League? I want to win everything."
Mexes is not Milan’s only defensive recruit with Taye Taiwo joining from Marseille. The Rossoneri are now expected to target a midfielder.
