Regularly compared with the legendary Ronaldo, Brazilian striker Neymar has played down talk he can be the former Real Madrid striker’s successor.

Ronaldo retired from the game this year, bringing down the curtain on his final spell with Corinthians and since that time Brazil have looked for a talent worthy of the "new Ronaldo" tag.

"Ronaldo is a playmaker."

The Santos striker is hot property this summer, with Chelsea and Real Madrid appearing to lead the chase for his signature.
