Former Italy international Gianfranco Zola has been appointed as the new coach of English Championship side Watford.
The Hornets, who were recently taken over by the Pozzo family, who also run Udinese and Granada, have handed Zola a two-year contract.
Zola last managed another English club, West Ham, between 2008 and 2010.
The Pozzo family are keen to see Watford back in the Premier League and Zola will be charged with fulfiling that ambition.
"Everyone knows how Gianfranco Zola likes football to be played", Watford’s new technical director Gianluca Nani told the club’s official website, hinting at thrilling times ahead.
"I think Watford’s fans can expect an exciting and attacking style from his team."
