Lille could offer a home to another player released by Chelsea this summer after contacting the agent of Jose Bosingwa.

Rudi Garcia’s side have already snapped up Salomon Kalou earlier this month, after he was allowed to leave Stamford Bridge following the expiry of his contract.

Kalou exited the Champions League winners along with Bosingwa, who was also let go after his contract came to an end.

The Portuguese full back has received a number of enquiries from interested parties, but will now be able to add Lille to his list.

The 2010/11 Ligue 1 winners are looking to sign a replacement for France right back Mathieu Debuchy, who is expected to be sold after setting his sights on a switch to a bigger league.

Debuchy has already been the subject of bids from Inter and Newcastle United, but has been told he will not be allowed to leave until Lille are sure they can adequately replace him.

And the French giants believe that Bosingwa could fit the bill.

The 29-year-old’s agent has been contacted and it is believed that the former FC Porto player is not opposed to the idea of moving to France.
