Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent has insisted that his client has no problem playing his football in France as talks over a move to Paris Saint-Germain continue.
AC Milan have agreed to sell Ibrahimovic to PSG and his Rossoneri team-mate Thiago Silva has already made the move to the Parc des Princes, inking a long-term contract with the French club.
The terms of Ibrahimovic’s contract however are more delicate and talks are taking time to conclude.
But despite the French league being seen as smaller than the Italian, Ibrahimovic has no problem making the move, his agent Mino Raiola has confirmed.
“If Zlatan had a problem playing in France then I would not have been in Paris for three days”, explained Raiola, countering suggestions negotiations are dragging on because the striker does not want to play in Ligue 1.
“His signing would be a special event for PSG.
“Normally you only see such types of deals in England. Now it is possible in Paris, this fascinating and magnificent capital.
“In addition to the city, what we are really interested in is the project at PSG.
“What is happening at this club is really fascinating.”
