Veteran Brazilian striker Ailton is continuing to play on in Germany despite being 39 years old.
Ailton, who burst to prominence at Werder Bremen, has agreed to sign for sixth tier outfit BFV Hassia Bingen.
The Brazilian hitman will join a side that finished tenth last season and play in the Verbandsliga Sudwest.
Ailton has had a notable career, with the majority of his success coming in German football.
In addition to Werder Bremen, the Brazilian also turned out for Schalke, Hamburg and Duisburg in the country.
Top scorer in the Bundesliga in 2004, Ailton shows no sign of slowing down and should be presented by his new club today.
