Chelsea have completed the capture of Eden Hazard’s brother Thorgan Hazard from French outfit Lens.

The 19-year-old could have remained with the Ligue 2 club, but quickly indicated his desire to follow his brother to Stamford Bridge when Chelsea’s interest became clear.

Now the forward will bid to make his mark with the Champions League winners and arrives in the English capital with glowing recommendations, not least from Eden Hazard, who has claimed that Thorgan is the more talented brother.

"He will now join our Under-21 squad, managed by Dermot Drummy, to continue his pre-season training and a loan move is being considered to continue his development", Chelsea announced on their official site.

Thorgan Hazard made 14 appearances in Ligue 2 for Lens last season, but had just one year remaining on his contract with the northern France side.

Chelsea also took the opportunity to announce further agreements for young players for next season.

"The club can also confirm deals have been completed for three young players to go on loan for the season – attacking midfielder/forward Ulises Davila to Spanish second division team Sabadell and striker Milan Lakovic and goalkeeper Matej Delac to Vitoria Guimaraes in the Portuguese top flight."
