Argentina striker Ezequiel Lavezzi believes that Paris Saint-Germain are the best team he has played for.

Lavezzi was bought by the French giants this summer from Serie A side Napoli. His transfer quickly slipped under the radar though given the arrivals of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the Parc des Princes, in a big money double move from AC Milan.

Nevertheless, Lavezzi is a man that PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti identified as a target early on in his reign in the French capital and now the 27-year-old is at the club.

And Lavezzi could not be happier.

"The atmosphere at the Parc des Princes is truly exceptional", the former Genoa man told French magazine Surface.

"It is even better than what I said when I arrived at the club.

"Next year I will be able to say that this is the best team with which I have played."

Lavezzi also reflected on the more relaxed nature of the French football scene, compared to the constant coverage in Italy and suggested he is finding it refreshing.

"Here I have the chance to go out without being mobbed. What I want to do is have fun."
