Jose Mourinho insists he could write a comedy based on Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli.

The current Real Madrid boss knows the young Italian well, having coached him at Serie A side Inter, before moving to the Spanish capital.

relatedNewsStory Mourinho has run into Balotelli again this season, with Real Madrid drawn in the same Champions League group as Manchester City.

The Portuguese tactician is a fan of Balotelli, but insists he could write a comedy based on the forward’s antics.

"I could write a book of about 200 pages [on Balotelli] on the two years at Inter", Mourinho told CNN.

"But the book would not be a drama.

"It would be a comedy because he’s a funny guy."

Balotelli has continued his wacky nature at Manchester City, famously pulling up his shirt to reveal a t-shirt with the message ‘Why always me?’.

He has also seen a fire started at his house in Manchester, after fireworks were reportedly let off in his bathroom.
