Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta was impressed with Nicklas Bendtner’s first Serie A start for the Bianconeri yesterday.
The striker, on loan at the Italian champions from Arsenal, helped his side secure all three points via a 1-0 win away at Catania, with Arturo Vidal scoring the only goal of the game.
Juventus continue to top the Serie A standings, with 25 points from nine games, with second placed Napoli three points behind.
For Bentdner, the match meant the chance to play a full 90 minutes in the Italian top flight for his new club; prior to the Catania clash, the Denmark international had managed just 11 minutes from the bench.
And he impressed, with Marotta believing that the striker offers a different option for the Bianconeri.
"He did the dirty and important work", said Marotta, about Bendtner’s performance.

Bendtner spent last season on loan at Sunderland.
He will be hoping to impress Juventus enough to earn a permanent switch to the club from Arsenal at the end of the season.
Juventus are next in action on Wednesday, when Bologna are the visitors to Turin for another Serie A clash.
