Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi believes that it is only natural the French giants are keen on Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi.
Carlo Ancelotti’s men have admitted an interest in De Rossi, though there still looks to be much work to be done before the 29-year-old can land at the Parc des Princes.
His purchase would be yet another raid on Italian football by PSG, after Lavezzi himself, Thiago Silva, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti were all scooped up over the summer.
And De Rossi’s signing is a logical next step for PSG to take, in Lavezzi’s opinion.
"It is obvious that a team as important and with such ambition as PSG will be interested in players like him", said the striker to Sky Sport 24.
Should De Rossi move to France though, he will hope for better luck than Lavezzi.
The former Napoli striker’s start to life at the Parc des Princes has been less than perfect, with injury and suspension restricting his appearances.

The 27-year-old was expected to make a bigger splash in the French capital.
