Portuguese giants Benfica are set to rival Liverpool for the signature of Yevhen Konoplyanka, with the club's coach Jorge Jesus having taken a liking to the 24-year-old.
Konoplyanka has hugely impressed watching talent spotters with his performances for Ukrainian outfit Dnipro, with the club emerging as genuine contenders for a top two Champions League spot this term.
Liverpool have been persistently linked with the winger, but Konoplyanka has other suitors, with Benfica now throwing their hat into the ring.

Dnipro coach Juande Ramos will not be keen to lose the starlet mid-season, for fear it may derail the club's campaign.
However, should lucrative offers start to arrive at the Ukrainian club, keeping Konoplyanka may prove difficult for Dnipro to do.
Konoplyanka has clocked up 15 appearances for Dnipro in the Ukrainian Premier League so far this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists for his team-mates.
The winger has won 35 caps for the Ukraine at international level.
