AC Milan have been contacted by agents offering the club the services of Manchester City defender Micah Richards, according to Il Giorno.

The Rossoneri have stepped up their planning for the January transfer window and are being bombarded by agents with suggestions as to who might prove to be a good fit at the San Siro.

Richards has found himself on the fringes at the Etihad Stadium this term and the Englishman has long been of interest to Italian sides, with links to Lazio and Inter having floated around over the summer.

It remains to be seen whether Milan will opt to make a move for Richards and whether Manchester City are willing to sell the defender.
