Prospective Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has been left on tenterhooks following an independent QC failing to reach a decision on his appeal over being disqualified from buying the Yorkshire giants.
The Football League ruled last week that Cellino has failed its owners' and directors' test due to being convicted of tax evasion in his native Italy.

However, Cellino's lawyers argue that as he is appealing against the Italian court's decision he remains innocent until the process has been completed.
An independent QC heard both sides in London today but could not reach a decision, requiring more time to deliberate.

That means Cellino will have to wait a little longer to discover whether his purchase of 75 per cent of Leeds can proceed.
Should the Italian not take control the consequences for Leeds could be serious.
The club's players agreed to defer 50 per cent of their March salary on Friday until after the appeal decision is known.
Current owners GFH Capital believe Cellino is obliged to pay the wages due to his takeover agreement.
