Manchester City have no interest in signing free agent Didier Drogba, who has been tipped to join Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho's men are thought to have made an approach for their former striker, offering him a one-year deal with an option to continue as a coach beyond the end of that agreement.

Of late Manchester City have been credited with moving to rival Chelsea for the 36-year-old, but according to ITV, the Premier League champions have no interest in Drogba.

The Ivorian has left Turkish giants Galatasaray following the expiration of his contract with the club.

The veteran hitman has been linked with a number of clubs and has offers from several sides, including Italian champions Juventus.
