West Ham goalkeeper Adrian feels that his team are strong enough to build on their good start to their season.
The Hammers are playing their last season at the Boleyn Ground, before they move to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for the start of the 2016/17 campaign, and they are making sure that it is one to remember for their fans.`
Under the tutelage of new boss Slaven Bilic, the east London side have made a very good start to their season and despite a loss at Watford last weekend, they are sixth in the league table, just a point off the top four spots.
The West Ham shot-stopper is pleased with the start that they have made and believe their summer signings have made sure that the Hammers have strength and depth in their squad to compete at a high level.
Adrian told Spanish daily AS: “The truth is that the start of the season has been spectacular.

“We have got some very good results, especially against the big teams. We have made the signings we needed and now, we have a very competitive squad.”
The Hammers also made a good start last season, but fell apart midway through the campaign to finish 12th in the league. However, Adrian is keen to avoid that scenario.
And he feels they have the strength in their squad to avoid such a drop in performance happening again this term.
“Last year we dropped our level from the middle of the season, but I think this season we have more to offer.”
