Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira has revealed his dream is to play in the Premier League and under the management of Jose Mourinho.
The Brazil international joined the Ukrainian outfit from Brazil’s Vasco in 2010 and has established himself as one of the lynchpins of Mircea Lucescu’ team.
A regular in the Shakhtar Donetsk team, the Brazilian has been in scintillating form for the club and has already notched up 23 goals in as many appearances this season.
His performances in the Ukraine have brought the attention of some top European clubs and it has been suggested that a number of teams have been keeping a close watch on him.
And the player revealed that he is aware that a number of top clubs across Europe such as Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are keen to sign him.

The attacking midfielder is particularly excited about Chelsea’s interest and revealed that his dream is play in the Premier League, which he feels is the best domestic competition in the world.
However, he also conceded that Shakhtar Donetsk won’t allow him to leave in January and a move is only possible at the end of the season.
Teixeira told Brazilian outlet Lance: “What I saw and what my agent said was that Chelsea, Juventus and PSG made proposals.
“I’m glad to have received the proposal of Chelsea as they are a big club in Europe, but my agent will sort that.
“It’s my dream. I have spoken to many people who have the desire to play in the Premier League, because I think it’s the best and the most competitive league.
“For January, I believe it is very difficult because it is in the middle of the championship. Shakhtar have said they will not release me in January, only at the end of the season. But I’m with a clear head.”
Teixeira also wants Mourinho to continue at Chelsea as he stressed that he wants to play under the Portuguese at Stamford Bridge.
“I hope he does not leave Chelsea now. I want to work with him and have great success at his side.”
