Tottenham Hotspur legend Cliff Jones has explained that he has been impressed with left-back Ben Davies’ performance on both the club and international front.
The Wales international, who joined Spurs from Swansea City on a five-year deal in 2014, has been in good form in the present campaign.
Davies has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham this season, providing four assists.
The 22-year-old, who is set to represent his nation in the European Championship in the summer, has thus far earned 18 caps for Wales since making his debut in 2012.
And Jones insisted that his compatriot’s performances have managed to please him, with the 81-year-old having himself joined Tottenham from Swansea, albeit in 1958.
