The 22-year-old midfielder has caught the eye with his performances at the French outfit and has accumulated a number of admirers in the process.

Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham are credited with an interest and Toulouse could be tested with a bid for the Ivory Coast international before the transfer window closes on 5th October.

President Comolli is clear however that Sangare does not have to go and the club have no financial pressure pushing them towards a sale.

He told Actu Toulouse: “Ibrahim is not about to go. Either way, I have not received an offer.

“We have no financial pressure and therefore no obligation to sell our players.

“I hope he stays”, Comolli stressed, before going on to dub Sangare “a leader”.

“His surroundings are excellent and, although he does not express himself very much, he is a leader.

“He is a role model for young players.”

The 22-year-old made 25 appearances in Ligue 1 for Toulouse last term, picking up eight yellow cards, and has already turned out in Ligue 2 for the club this season as he aims to help them instantly bounce back up to the French top flight.
