Joseph has been part of Spanish side Espanyol’s academy for his entire career and has plied his trade for the club’s Under-18 and Under-19 squads.

He has not yet played a game for the reserve or first team at the Spanish side, though he featured in the matchday squad for Espanyol B team’s game against Valencia in January.

The youngster plays as a striker and any team interested in him would be looking to add a young attacking option to their stable.

Manchester City are interested in Joseph and are looking to bring him to the Etihad to bolster the club’s academy.

However, Barcelona have joined the fray in pursuit of Joseph and are ready to rival Manchester City for the youngster’s signature.

Barcelona are derby rivals of Espanyol and it remains to be seen whether the youngster will jump ship to the Camp Nou.

All eyes will be on where Joseph ends up when the summer transfer window swings open.
