Manchester United have forked out more than £72m for Jadon Sancho and has agreed to splash out another £34.2m for Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane.

Any more incomings are expected to be heavily dependent on sales but Manchester United in the market for more players.

A midfielder is on their horizon but Manchester United are still interested in getting their hands on Trippier this summer.

The England international is keen on the move and it has been claimed that he is prepared to wait until the end of the window for the transfer.

Coming from a family of Manchester United fans, the 30-year-old wants to join the Red Devils and he has already made arrangements for his family to relocate to the north west of England.

Atletico Madrid are reluctant to lose him and there are fears that Trippier could be priced out of a move to Old Trafford.

The defender believes the move will eventually materialise but towards the end of the window.

Manchester United want to sign Trippier as a more attacking alternative to Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
