Correa is keen to take on a new challenge in his career and has been heavily linked with a move from Lazio during the ongoing transfer window.

The 26-year-old reiterated his desire to leave the Serie A club this summer at the weekend after he was summoned to coach Maurizio Sarri’s office for a talk.

With Correa keen on a move away from the Rome-based club this summer, his agent Lucci appears to be exploring potential destinations for the player.

And according to Italian daily Il Tempo, Correa’s agent has opened talks with Premier League club Everton over a potential move to Goodison Park.

The Toffees are said to be keen on acquiring the services of the Argentina international from Lazio and are locked in talks with Lucci over a move.

Correa’s agent is also open to listening to potential offers from Everton’s Premier League rivals Tottenham and Leicester, with the next few weeks said to be decisive in sorting out the player’s future.

With Everton engaged in talks with the Lazio star’s agent, it remains to be seen if the negotiations will head towards a positive end.

Lazio want between €35m and €40m.
