Spurs are yet to make single new signing so far this month but their hierarchy are looking to spend to cash on new recruits before Monday’s deadline.

Tottenham were eyeing roping in FC Porto’s Luis Diaz, but the winger is now in talks with Premier League rivals Liverpool and is keen on moving to Anfield.

With a move for Diaz all but over for Spurs, they have turned their attentions towards Juventus winger Kulusevski.

The 21-year-old is a not a regular in the Juventus first team this season and Tottenham want him to link up with boss Antonio Conte, providing him with one more option in attack, which has been a priority for the club.

Spurs are putting together the framework of a deal for Kulusevski and are working hard to get a move done.

Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici, who had a stint at the Turin giants, is a firm admirer of Kulusevski.

And if Juventus agree to a deal to let the winger join Spurs, it is expected to be on loan with an option or obligation to make the move permanent.
