The Brazilian winger’s future has come under the scanner in recent days due to reported interest from Barcelona.

The Catalan giants have identified him as their priority target and are believed to be in talks with their former player Deco, who is also the winger’s agent.

Raphinha is claimed to have agreed on personal terms with the club and wants to join Barcelona at the end of the season.

There are suggestions that the winger has two release clauses in his contract – one in the case of Leeds being relegated and the other if they continue to stay in the Premier League.

However, it has been claimed that there is only one release clause in his contract and that is tied to the prospect of the Whites being relegated.

There are no other clauses and Leeds can demand big money if clubs come calling for him in the summer and they are still in the Premier League.

However, Leeds do want to offer him a new deal, which if agreed, would contain a specific release clause.

It remains to be seen if Raphinha, who has also attracted interest from several Premier League heavyweights, is still at Elland Road next term.
