Beale is a highly-rated coach and has been part of Steven Gerrard’s staff since his first managerial job at Rangers.

He was previously involved in the Liverpool academy and has also worked in Brazil at Sao Paulo as well.

The 41-year-old is yet to get a crack at management at senior level and he is one of the candidates QPR are looking at.

And it has been claimed that QPR have made contact with Aston Villa to seek permission to talk to Beale.

The London club will be hoping that Aston Villa will allow them to have a conversation with their assistant manager.

The Championship club will look to convince Beale about the project at Loftus Road as they look to bring in a new manager.

Aston Villa are unlikely to stand in his way if the 41-year-old wants to get an opportunity to be a manager.

But for the moment, there is no agreement yet and QPR are also expected to hold talks with other candidates.
