Roca has two years left on his contract at Bayern Munich and the club are believed to be keen to offload him this summer after he failed to make an impact.

The 25-year-old has made just 15 league appearances over the last two seasons and is now being linked with a move to the Premier League.

Leeds are looking to strengthen their midfield options after snapping up two new players in Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen.

And the club have turned their attention towards getting a deal done to sign the Bayern Munich midfielder.

Leeds are pushing forward with an attempt to work out an agreement with the German champions to take him to Elland Road.

It has been claimed that Bayern Munich would be prepared to let him go for a fee of £10m.

However, Leeds could face competition from West Ham, who have also been keeping tabs on Roca.

Leeds’ interest in the Spaniard is not tied to Kalvin Phillips’ future at Elland Road this summer.

Jesse Marsch wants more midfield options ahead of next season and Roca is one of Leeds’ top targets.
