Ziyech has emerged as a potential target for AC Milan who are looking to add more creativity to their league-winning squad ahead of next season.

With Chelsea looking to invest heavily in Raheem Sterling and Raphinha, Ziyech is expected to become surplus to requirements at the club this summer.

Thomas Tuchel is prepared to let him go and Ziyech is also keen on a move to AC Milan in the ongoing window.

AC Milan are working on a deal to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy, but according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri still have much work to do when it comes to agreeing on paying his wages.

The Serie A giants are likely to ask Chelsea to subsidise a large portion of his €6.5m gross per season contract for a loan.

They are not in a position to meet his wage demands and are keen to see Chelsea cover part of his salary.

AC Milan are looking to sign him for a €5m loan fee and set the obligation to buy figure at around €20m to €25m.

But any potential deal requires significant work despite Ziyech and AC Milan being keen on the move.
