Malinovsky’s future at the Bergamo club is under the scanner as he has attracted transfer interest from the Premier League.

Tottenham are keen on an initial loan move for the Ukrainian, while their top flight rivals West Ham also have him on their radar, with both clubs in the market for new attacking midfielders.

It has been claimed that La Dea are open to letting Malinovskyi go and they were tipped to be seeking a €20m fee for him.

However, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Atalanta have now doubled Malinovskyi’s asking price and want €40m for his signature, plus an additional €5m in add-on payments.

Malinovskyi was suggested to have no future under Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini, but the player started and scored in their latest Serie A outing.

The midfielder could now stay at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia while Atalanta are only prepared to let him go for a figure that would enable them to make multiple signings.

Moreover, Tottenham want to snap up Malinovskyi on loan, but Atalanta are only prepared to sell him outright while, he is not West Ham’s top attacking midfield target with Club Brugge man Hans Vanaken at the top of their wish list.
