The Reds did the majority of their transfer business early in the window although they are currently shorthanded including in midfield with several players out owing to injury.
With just a few days left in the transfer window it was claimed that Liverpool will focus more on getting their injured players fit rather than splash the cash on further players.
However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has now confirmed that his side will move for new signings in midfield, provided they find the right player for the right price.
And the Merseyside giants could launch a swoop for Foxes star Tielemans, who has been linked with leaving the King Power Stadium throughout this summer.
Arsenal have also been credited with interest in the Belgian but they are yet to make any moves for him.
However, the Reds could now make efforts to snare Tielemans away from Leicester as they continue their process of identifying midfield targets.
The window is set to slam shut on Thursday and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool will indeed pounce on Tielemans.
