The Saints are having a busy deadline day with the club still working on potential incomings and outgoings.
Southampton have added fresh faces to their senior squad and youth ranks while they have also seen several exits including some on loan.
And the south coast side are close to seeing yet another player leave St Mary’s Stadium on a temporary basis with just hours left in the window.
According to French daily Le Parisien, Ligue 1 side Troyes are in advanced talks with Southampton over the services of custodian Lis on loan.
The 25-year-old only joined Southampton in July but is now close to leaving the club.
Lis has so far not been part of the Saint’s matchday squads in the Premier League while he has clocked up minutes in the Premier League 2 for their youth side.
A move to Troyes could provide him with an opportunity to play senior football regularly for this season.
