The 19-year-old midfielder is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer with several big clubs queuing up to sign him.

He has been the number one target for Liverpool for a while and the club are pushing hard to convince him to move to Anfield.

Fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Manchester City are also in the chase and Real Madrid have identified him as their priority target.

But according to German daily Bild, the family’s preference is for Bellingham to move to Liverpool next summer.

The Reds have been in advanced negotiations with the England midfielder’s camp over a transfer.

Liverpool are further ahead of Real Madrid in terms of talks between the club and the representatives of Bellingham.

A decision has not been made and the midfielder will take more time to take a call on his next club.

The midfielder is having a brilliant World Cup and has played his part in taking England to the quarter-final.
