The 25-year-old midfielder is in the middle of a transfer tussle between Burnley and Besiktas in the January transfer window.
Konyaspor want €5m from his departure but neither of his two prominent suitors are yet to match that figure.
Burnley have offered a deal worth €4m and Besiktas have refused to offer more than €3m for the midfielder.
But according to Turkish daily En Son Haber, the midfielder has told Konyaspor that he wants to join Besiktas over Burnley.
The player is aware of the opportunity to move to England to a club who are the top contender to get promoted to the Premier League.
However, Hadziahmetovic is not interested in playing in the Championship now and wants to stay in Turkey by moving to Besiktas.
Besiktas are ready to table a formal bid for the player if Konyaspor agree to reduce their financial demands.
It remains to be seen whether Burnley can manage to change the player’s mind about playing in the Championship.
