The 19-year-old centre-back has made two senior appearances for the German giants and is a target for Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.

Burnley agreed a deal with Dortmund to sign Coulibaly on a season-long loan this summer.

Dortmund successfully negotiated a £15m obligation to buy clause to kick in at the end of the new season in Coulibaly’s contract.

And the 19-year-old centre-back completed his medical with the Turf Moor outfit on Tuesday.

However, it has been claimed that the deal between Dortmund and Burnley is on the verge of collapsing.

Burnley and Dortmund have reached a disagreement regarding the obligatory buy clause, which puts Coulibaly’s move to Turf Moor in jeopardy.

Now it remains to be seen whether both will be able to come to an agreement to facilitate the move.
