Calvert-Lewin had another injury-riddled last season and has managed to score just seven goals for Everton in the last two campaigns.

Everton are actively looking to bring in a forward this summer and there are question marks over the 26-year-old’s fitness ahead of the new season.

He has two years left on his contract at Everton and his future at the club has suddenly come under the scanner.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via LaRoma24), Roma have been offered the chance to sign Calvert-Lewin in the ongoing transfer window.

The Serie A giants are in the market for a striker and West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca has been a top target.

They also have an interest in Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata but it has been claimed that Calvert-Lewin has also been brought to their attention.

Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto has been offered the Everton forward through market intermediaries.

It is unclear whether Roma are interested in him but the forward is said to be keen on playing under Jose Mourinho.
