The 26-year-old winger spent the second half of last season with Olympiacos and scored four goals while laying on three assists in his eight appearances.

Canos has a host of suitors in the transfer market and Brentford are willing to part ways with the winger this summer.

Spanish outfit Valencia are keen on signing Canos and European outfits Anderlecht and AEK Athens are also interested in him.

According to Spanish radio station Tribuna Deportiva, Valencia have now submitted a bid for Canos to Brentford and the offer includes a future sell-on fee.

It has been suggested that the Spanish outfit have already agreed personal terms with the Brentford star, who they want to sign on a free transfer.

AEK Athens and Anderlecht are ready to offer a transfer fee for Canos, but the player’s priority is to join the Spanish side.

Now it remains to be seen whether Valencia’s offer will be convincing enough for Brentford to let the player go this summer, as the Bees are claimed to want a fee.
