Barella, 26, has been plying trade for the Nerazzurri since 2020 and has already established himself as a midfield mainstay for the Italian outfit.

The midfield gem has emerged as a transfer target for a host of clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester City, this summer.

Liverpool are in alignment with their plans to rejig their midfield stocks ahead of next season’s campaign, with the Merseyside giants eyeing returning to the fold of the Champions League next season.

The Cityzens, on the other hand, are plotting a swoop for the 26-year-old Italian if they lose Bernardo Silva in the ongoing transfer window.

Inter are not willing to put their midfield talisman up for sale sale this summer, but according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, the Serie A giants will listen to offers, in the event of them being made, for Barella.

Simone Inzaghi’s side have yet to reveal the valuation they have set for the Italy international, with the Italian side witnessing a flurry of transfer activity this summer.

And it remains to be seen whether the Premier League duo will eventually make concrete moves for the midfielder in the coming days.
