The Owls are experiencing a flurry of transfer market activity in terms of signing new players to continue to rejig the squad.

Xisco Munoz is getting his team ready for a strong season in the Championship and he is keen to have at least two players for each position.

Wednesday have already secured 22-year-old Anthony Musaba from French outfit Monaco and are tipped to sign more players before the transfer window shuts down.

PSG forward Gassama is set to be the latest addition and, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, he will sign for Wednesday within the next few hours.

Gassama spent last season with Belgian first-tier side Eupen where he made 19 appearances and contributed to four goals directly.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to see him make an instant impact amid the cut and thrust of the Championship.

The Owls are set to play host to Preston North End in their next game and it remains to be seen if Gassama will feature.
