The 26-year-old defender has been with Fluminense since 2019 and currently wears the skipper’s armband for them.

He comes with vast experience having represented the club in more than 200 top-flight games and has also won a gold medal with Brazil’s Olympic team.

Dutch side Feyenoord, Turkish outfit Besiktas and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Shabab were all interested in Nino but the Rio-based club blocked their approaches.
