The 19-year-old midfielder has been one of the young players of the season in Ligue 1 and has been garnering the attention of several clubs across Europe.

A product of the Strasbourg academy, the teenager has made seven starts in Ligue 1 this term and he has been a major part of their squad.

Lens are amongst the clubs who are interested in signing him and even Nottingham Forest are plotting to take him to the Premier League.

But according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Diarra has a clear plan for himself for the January transfer window.

It has been suggested that the midfielder is not interested in leaving Strasbourg in the middle of the season.

For the moment, he is happy at the French club and a move in January is not in his plans.

Diarra wants to spend the season at Strasbourg before considering his future in the summer.

It remains to be seen if Nottingham Forest make an attempt to change his mind.
