A Premier League side are expected to bid for Hellas Verona’s Cyril Ngonge soon, with Aston Villa having watched him and the Italians ready to sell if their price is met.

The 23-year-old attacker has featured in 15 of his side’s 17 Serie A games and has made six goal contributions.

Coach Marco Baroni is a firm fan of Ngonge and he is considered a key man at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

There is now intrigue over his future as, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Hellas Verona expect an important offer from the Premier League to arrive.

While the club who are tipped to make the offer is unknown, Aston Villa have watched him closely in recent weeks.

Ngonge has put in good displays in recent Hellas Verona games and Villa may have every reason to be impressed.

Hellas Verona stand ready to sell Ngonge, but would want between €10m and €15m to do so.

Fiorentina are also keen to land the winger, but would need to offload a player first to be able to fund the move.
