Tottenham Hotspur are growing optimistic about working out a deal to sign Genoa centre-back Radu Dragusin in the January transfer window, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti.

The 21-year-old centre-back has been heavily linked with a move away from Genoa in the January transfer window.

Dragusin has several suitors across Europe and Italy and Genoa are aware that they will likely lose him in the ongoing window.

However, Tottenham are the ones who are pushing to get a deal over the line to sign the Romanian in the coming weeks.

It has been claimed that talks are progressing well between the two clubs for Dragusin’s potential move to the north London side.

The negotiations are moving in the right direction but there is still a difference between the two clubs in terms of valuations; the parties are a few million apart.

However, Tottenham are growing increasingly confident that a deal would get agreed upon for Dragusin’s transfer.

A fresh round of talks are set to take place between Tottenham and Genoa in the coming days.

Dragusin is open to a move to the Premier League if a deal can be agreed upon between the two clubs.
