Tottenham Hotspur are now looking at possible alternatives to Radu Dragusin after refusing to meet Genoa’s asking price.

Dragusin has been the centre of talks between Genoa and Tottenham in recent days, while Napoli are also trying to sign the defender.

Genoa are demanding a guaranteed €30m from selling the Romania international, a figure neither side have yet touched and have adopted a firm approach.

Now Tottenham, whose latest proposal hit £25m, are looking elsewhere, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com).

Spurs want to check on what alternatives might be available if they turn their attention away from Dragusin.

Sevilla’s Loic Bade has emerged as an option and it is claimed preliminary talks have already happened.

If Tottenham do end their efforts to sign Dragusin, Napoli would see their hopes of signing the centre-back hugely boosted.

Dragusin is claimed to be prepared to join either Tottenham or Napoli if they can reach an agreement with Genoa.
