Fiorentina are looking at a possible deal for Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil, who they consider to have the ideal profile for their needs.
La Viola have made strengthening their wide options to be a priority during this month’s transfer window and they have been chasing Hellas Verona’s Cyril Ngonge.
Ngonge would cost in the region of €10m though and Fiorentina are now looking at other possibilities.
Tottenham winger Gil is very much in their sights, according to Sky Italia, and La Viola are looking at a deal.
It is suggested that Gil is viewed as someone who has the ideal profile for Fiorentina.
The Italian club noted his performance for Sevilla against Juventus in the Europa League last term.
Gil is firmly on the fringes at Tottenham and has struggled for game time under Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou.
A move to Serie A with Fiorentina may be one which appeals to the Spaniard as he looks to play regularly.
