Luke Cundle is currently training with Stoke City after passing a medical with the Potters, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Cundle was recalled from a loan spell at Plymouth Argyle by his parent club Wolves, who then agreed a loan deal for him to head to Stoke.

Stoke have pushed ahead to get the capture over the line and the deal is effectively done.

Cundle has undergone a medical with the Championship side and is now training with his new team-mates at Stoke.

The Potters will be looking for Cundle to pick up where he left off at Plymouth, where he impressed in the Championship.

The midfielder clocked 24 appearances in the Championship for Argyle.

And Cundle chipped in with three goals and five assists in the process.

Stoke got an up close look at Cundle in the Championship earlier this season when they faced Plymouth at Home Park and went down to a 2-1 loss.
