Aston Villa’s interest in West Ham United target Armando Broja is dependent on Jhon Duran leaving the Midlands club this month, according to the Evening Standard.

Chelsea are prepared to sell Broja in the winter transfer window as part of their plans to raise funds in the market.

The striker has started just six Premier League games this season and the Blues are prepared to cash in on the forward, but only for the right price.

Aston Villa are amongst several Premier League clubs who are interested in getting their hands on the striker in the ongoing window.

However, it has been claimed that Aston Villa’s interest is tied to them successfully offloading Duran in January.

Aston Villa signed the forward in the winter window last year but the 20-year-old is yet to carve out a niche for himself at Villa Park.

Unai Emery could be prepared to let him go if he can sign a replacement.

West Ham are also interested in Broja but Chelsea’s £50m asking price for the striker is seen as a major obstacle.

Fulham and Wolves are eyeing him as well but on an initial loan deal with an option or obligation to buy.

However, Chelsea would prefer to sell him as they need cash to balance the books and fund more transfers.
